What was your most challenging travel experience?

Ireland - 2007. Showing up at my rented "flat" and realizing it was a scam. However, the most challenging travel experience turned into one of the most rewarding experiences.

Bonjour!

After getting re-routed from the Mercier Bridge and arriving a little late to the airport, I finally made it to CANADA. "Oh, Canada....Oh home and native land!" It should go, "Oh, Canada....Oh home of the crazy drivers! We like to dye our hair French-Canadian red and shop in Plattsburgh (keeping the tune of course)! Sidenote: Canada has decided that since the economy is so strong right now, they might as well reconstruct all of their roads and bridges. Good plan, Canada. It was super easy to get around all of the construction to the airport.

So, I did this whole International backpacking three years ago this month and well, most of you know how that trip got its start. For those of your who don't, let's just say that when I arrived at my rented flat in Dublin, it was SCAM and disguised as a big, red brick wall. But on the bright side, it turned out being a better trip then I could've ever imagined. So, this time I am trying it again, Italian style. Wish me luck. This chick is headed on the plane for some tutoring preparation and a little reading.
